This website is operated by Impulse Art & Photography. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Impulse Art & Photography, it's staff and Proprietor.

FOR POSTAL DAMAGE

For postal damage, please email customer service at customer_care@impulseart.com.au. Attach some photos of the damaged print, and the damaged packaging so we can start the postal insurance claim, Keep or discard the damaged print and a new print will be sent out to you for free.

WARRANTY POLICY

​

​

Spot-UV Poster Prints include limited two (2) year warranty. 

Fine Art Prints are covered by five (5) year warranty.

Artworks and Limited Edition Prints are covered by ten (10) year warranty. 

​

Fine Art materials have an expected lifetime up to one hundred (100) years! 

​

The warranty covers any fading, peeling, cracks or other faults/damages of the products, not incurred by the customer, while the care instructions have been followed. While quality control and fact checking are carried out for each image, mistakes can happen; Typographical errors, scale bar magnitude errors and incorrect specimen labelling are also covered by warranty with updated replacements shipped free of charge.

Customers are not required to return Enlargements with damages for valid warranty claims. Please email customer service at customer_care@impulseart.com.au, Attach some photos of the damaged print so we can start the warranty replacement process, Keep or discard the damaged print and a new print will be sent out to you for free.

  1. Some fading is unavoidable when enlargements/artworks are placed outdoors in direct sunlight for long periods, and this is not recommended and evidence of this will void the warranty.

  2. Artworks/Enlargements damaged by external factors including but not limited to the following will also void warranty; including improper cleaning/maintenance by the purchaser, accidental or intentional damage such as by scratching/ripping/throwing/puncturing/bending of the artwork/enlargement, use of adhesives such as blu-tack to fix enlargements to walls without framing, using inadequate hooks/mounts leading to fall damage, damage incurred in subsequent transport of the item, improper storage or display, mould or water damage, exposure to excessive heat.

  3. Please refer to care and maintenance instructions provided with the artwork/enlargement.

  4. Ilford and Canson prints require framing, ideally behind UV resistant glass. Ilford and Canson prints showing signs of display without any framing voids warranty.

  5. Prints framed using mount board for glassless display are still covered under warranty If mounting has been carried out correctly. Glassless framed prints may have reduced archival life expectancy and are more susceptible to accidental damages. If in doubt, employ professional framing services for glassless framing.
